Program Description
The Management Training Fund program offers grants of up to $600
to provide training funds for the staff and volunteers of nonprofit
arts groups to attend management workshops, seminars or conferences.
Program Requirements
Requirements listed here are intended to give a sense of the program.
For a full description of requirements and eligibility rules, see
guidelines.
Award amount/process
The maximum grant amount is $600 for the year, $300 per person,
per event to be awarded as a reimbursement. There is no limit
to the number of times a group may use the fund; you may request
the full $600 all at once or apply for smaller amounts throughout
the year until you reach the $600 maximum. Applications will be
accepted as long as funds remain available.
Award payment
Groups will be reimbursed after the training is completed and
upon receipt of the completed evaluation form. To ensure that
you qualify for reimbursement and that you receive it in a timely
manner, you should submit your request at least 14 days before
the training you wish to attend.
Eligibility
To ensure eligibility, all applicants are strongly encouraged
to discuss proposal ideas with MRAC staff before beginning an
MRAC application. All eligibility requirements are fully outlined
in the guidelines. For general eligibility, see the Eligibility
page.
