Bob Burns Bob Burns is in his eleventh year at the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council (MRAC). As a program director, he works with small to mid-size arts organizations, informal arts groups and community organizations such as Community Education, Parks and Recreation and Libraries. Through this work, he has learned much about incorporating the arts into the daily lives of all communities by providing leadership, advocacy, grants and services.
Prior to working at MRAC, Bob has worked in the arts in various roles from box office to managing director. He has worked with, among others, Children's Theatre Company, Minnesota Opera and Penumbra Theater. Bob is also a musician who plays keyboards for the local rock group, the Flamin' Oh's and a founding member and producer of Supraluxe.
